Nancy Forsstrom

Pastor

The Rev. Nancy E. Forsstrom has served as Pastor at Central since 2009. After receiving her MDiv from Andover Newton Theological School in 1986, she was ordained at The First Baptist Church of America in Providence, RI. Since then, she has served churches in Connecticut and Chicago, worked for the American Baptist Churches of CT and USA, and done some fund-raising for several not-for-profit organizations.

David Warfield

Music Director

David C. Warfield, Director of Music, is the son of a Methodist pastor. While he has served in churches all over New England for over 40 years, he is a ‘native,’ having graduated from our own Norwich Free Academy before serving in the US Navy and studying with several renowned musicians. Well-versed in all styles of music, he has a passion for bringing faith alive through our voice choir, bell choir, Music at Central series, and in finding the perfect musical message for every faith-centered occasion. David has been at Central since 2002.

Arline Masse

Secretary

Arline Masse serves as our Church Secretary. She welcomes visitors and assists with community outreach, and is most likely the one you will first speak to when you call.

Mark Salomon

Sexton

Mark Salomon, our Church sexton, carefully tends to our large facility. Mark owns a cleaning business, and uses many handy talents to keep us running as smoothly as possible.

Mayleen Soto

Nursery Worker

Mayleen Soto is our nursery worker. You will see her each Sunday morning as she greets our littlest visitors and members and strives to provide them with a meaningful faith experience.
